Tube Bender Experiments

Can my 3/8" Ridgid tube bender make bends in 5/16" steel tubing if I use vinyl tubing to enlarge the steel tubing?

Lining up for a second bend. Note that the vinyl tubing isn't the right size, I think that this technique might work better with the right tubing.
