Mark's Taillight with Standlight
Mark Vande Kamp's custom standlight taillight. I helped him with the taillight electronics and housing. Hahn Rossman helped him with the switch and machining involved there. It is a very slick setup and looks great. Brightness wise it is much brighter than a Seculite while riding, but dimmer when stopped. The standlight circuit is very simple and doesn't make the best use of the supercap. When going there are 10 LEDs at full brightness, when stopped there are 2 at about half brightness.

It's been an hour since Mark got here and the standlight still has a very faint glow (not enough to be useful, but enough to tell us that it still works). Only those two LEDs are powered by the supercap. Since it lasts this long I bet we could have run it with 4 LEDs powered by the supercap for additional brightness.
