Top of tire markings for the different tires that will be used on this frame. The lowest is a Trim Line, two up is a Hetre, way up from there is a Quasi Moto. The top line is where I located the bridge (18mm above the Hetre)

  • Brazing on a scrap of tubing to cover the end of the seatstay.
  • The seatstay with the scrap tubing mounted on it.
  • Current frame progress. All tubes accounted for, now I just need to tackle the bridges and brazeons.
  • The brazed seatstay. You can see that I got things a little too hot (burnt flux on the cap), but it should still clean up reasonably well.
  • Dropout end with the flux soaked off. This also got a little too hot (burnt flux).
  • The rear view. I might build up a little more fillet on the left seatstay to make them match, I'll see how it looks when I do some cleanup work.

  • Current frame progress. Pretty much everything is done except for cable routing brazeons and canti posts.
  • Seatstay caps, finished. I was getting worried about how thing the seatstay cap was getting, so I put a layer of brass on top.
  • Headtube fillets, finished
  • Bottom bracket fillets, mostly finished. I find it hard to get really smooth cleanup work here, access is hard.
  • That little bridge and bolt head is the anti-turn system for a Rohloff OEM2.
  • Both dropouts
  • Rear triangle.
  • Chainstay bridge and tire clearance dents.
  • Tire clearance with a Quasi-Moto (largest tire I designed for). Not too bad!
  • Tire to bridge clearance is a reasonable to tight with this tire, but will give me a good fenderline with Hetres. The bottom eyelet is for a fender, the top is for a rear rack.
  • Tire to chainstay bridge clearance is identical. Thanks bridge jack.
  • Rohloff OEM2 anti-rotation system in effect.
