  • This is setting the X distance from the BB to the head tube. The scribed mark in the middle of the ink is centered with the BB.
  • This is the bottom of the head tube adjuster plate. That scribed mark is centered under the lower head tube cone.
  • The lower head tube is setup be parallel with these marks right on the pivot
  • The chainstay length is easy to read directly.
  • The rear tower assembly. Using 80/20 1530 extrusion here saved me from drilling very long holes for the locking levers. It is much easier to make the little end caps.
  • The whole fixture.
  • The STA tower assembly pivots around the BB shell (so adjusting the STA angle does not move the BB shell). The 3 outer handles move this assembly left and right, the one in the slot is for adjusting the seat tube angle. There is a scale for reading off the seat tube angle on the other side.
  • The HTA tower assembly pivots around the bottom of the head tube. The blue bolt locks the angle, the black handle allows the plate to move up and down.
  • Red measurements are used to setup the jig. Blue ones are used to miter tubing.

  • Adjustment plate for the STA on my jig. This shows the back side of it. The two brass pins ride in the slot of the backplate.
  • I'm installing the adjustment plate and you can see the brass pins going into the slot.
  • Everything but the locking handle. You can see how the locking handle goes into that threaded hole.
  • Fully assembled.
