  • Rear dummy axle holder. A second handle will be added at the lower location. I'm rethinking how to do the dummy axle holder.
  • There is a lot going on here hidden behind the extrusion. I'll take it apart for some better photos.
  • HTA angle marks. This is at 71 degrees. The back plate here is a prototype, it will be replaced with one made from MIC6.
  • BB offset can be adjusted for 73mm or 68mm shells. The secret weapon is a fine thread adjustable shaft collar from McMaster Carr.
  • Mostly done Arctos-like jig. I'm waiting for an order from McMaster Carr to put handles on all of the frequently used parts.
  • Anatomy of a cone tower. 2.25" offset, a cone that handles 1" to 1.375" tubing. The pins keep it aligned in the 8020 extrusion. The bolt to the T-nut will be replaced with a handle.
  • STA angle gauge (it's at the 73 degree mark).
  • Seat tube angle scale.
  • This is just a BB shell sitting on a 123 block to reference the first miter.
  • Make this block steady on the reference surface.
  • This is my simple method of keeping the miters in phase. There is a dummy BB sitting on the far end of the alignment table.
  • Setting the miter angle.
  • Ready to miter. I only have one 1.25" block, it would be good to get a second one.
  • Miter complete.
  • Miter as it came off of the mill. Not too bad.

  • The bottom bracket post uses locking collars and a fly cut aluminum block along with 5/8" solid rod. The adjustable locking collar makes it easy to adjust for 73mm or 68mm bottom bracket shells.
  • Head tube tower. The locking handle sets vertical offset (Y), the blue bolt is used to set HTA.
  • The rear dummy axle assembly allows the axle to be removed quickly.
  • This scale is used to measure BB drop. Right now it is at 74mm.
